Sea Turtle Release at Assateague National Seashore

Here are a few of the photos we took of this fantastic event. The Kemp's Ridley turtles were cold stunned in Cape Cod, 10 were released. Also 2 Green Sea Turtles one had a rare blood infection and kidney problems after stranding along the coast of Cape Cod & the other found on the coast of Delaware had a low body temperature, broken ribs and a tear in his lung that left him buoyant and unable to properly swim. All these turtles were rehabed and released. It was a Great day for the Turtles
